There’s a rumor swirling around that the NCAA will be investigating the Oregon Ducks Football program on allegations of recruitment violations. Here’s a snipet from a blog discussing the situation:
In case you have briefly paid attention to this college football offseason, you may have missed the Will Lyles scandal back in March. When Oregon allegedly paid Will Lyles, from “Complete Scouting Services,” $25,000 for his recruiting services back in 2009-10. Also noted is the fact that the payment happened shortly after Texas recruit Lache Seastrunk signed his letter of intent to Oregon over many other top football programs. Which led to an NCAA investigation into the situation at Oregon.
We’ll see if the rumor holds true. To read the rest of the blog post, go here.
